From Mauritius oil spill crisis to eco-fishery harbour
The Wakashio hit the coral rock belt in southeast Mauritius, causing over 1,000 tons of oil spills and damages to the ecological environment. In this project, through landscape intervention, Mauritius has been able to get out of its predicament in an ecological way. And the site has been assigned to different ecological protection executors, opening up new opportunities for fishery and tourism, driving ecological-economic-sustainable development for small island countries.
